What is GESICA?
Smarter emergency response, powered by AI.
Detect weak signals
GESICA scans real-time and historical data to identify early warning signs of exceptional health events, before they escalate.
Simulate and anticipate
From pandemics to local surges, GESICA models future scenarios and helps decision-makers prepare optimized action plans.
Coordinate across borders
Built for the French–Swiss healthcare ecosystem, GESICA strengthens cross-border response by sharing insights and aligning resources.

Our Team Leaders
Researchers, clinicians, and public health experts from both sides of the border, united to build a smarter response to tomorrow’s health crises.

Our partners
Leading hospitals, universities, and public institutions in France and Switzerland, working together to turn data into action.

Flux
We start by tapping into the daily flux of information flowing through hospitals, clinics and public-health feeds on both sides of the border.
GESICA securely onboards these heterogeneous data streams - patient calls, bed capacity, meteorological inputs and more - creating a living picture of routine activity across the territory.
This foundation, nutured with historical data lets the system understand what “normal” looks like before a crisis even appears.

Detection
With the baseline set, our AI continuously scans for weak signals that hint at an exceptional sanitary event.
Subtle shifts in call volumes, symptom clusters or mobility patterns trigger the detection engine, which correlates them in real time and assigns a risk score depending on the typology of ESS.
The moment that score crosses a critical threshold, GESICA raises an early-warning alert before traditional methods would notice.

Response
Once an alert is confirmed, GESICA pivots into response mode, generating dynamic scenarios for decision-makers.
It recommends how to answer the crisis with ressources allocation and emergency plan activation to keep everyday care running while absorbing the surge.
Clear dashboards and data feeds ensure that the right teams receive the right plan at the right moment turning foresight into fast, coordinated action.
